Monthly goals | December
7:50 AM
The other day I was looking through my Bloglovin feed as I often do, when I came across a really good blogpost idea by The Nerdy Me: which November resolutions she had actually stuck to and which ones had been disappointed, plus the new ones for December.

I thought it was a great idea for keeping track of your own goals and your progress, so I thought to get some inspiration from it and choose five resolutions for every month.
The month of December is going to be so eclectic that I’m not even sure I’ll have time to take showers and eat (I’m so dramatic).
However, I’ll try and do my best because, as my friend Ludovica always says, that’s all we can really ever do.
So, here we are.
1. Stick to my health and fitness plan
On Monday I’m going to start the Alexa Jean Fitness bikini body guide, which I purchased some time ago but never had the chance (and guts) to start. For the last month I’ve just been doing lots of cardio, such as zumba, jogging, dancing. I really want more definition, so I’m going to try her 6-month-program and then we’ll see. Of course, I’ll keep you updated.
2. Post two to three times a week
I’m good at time management, people. However, I’ve always been struggling with this blogging thing. Not because of the lack of ideas, but because life gets busy and I get behind with work and school, therefore my blog becomes a little desert. Let’s make an oasis come out of it, shall we?
3. Make small but meaningful gifts
Since I don’t have a full time job but I’m full of expensive ambitions (i.e. traveling, fashion), when the holidays come I’m just in such a pressure to make amazing gifts without spending a lot of money. Every year I end up making really expensive gifts for some and insignificant (and last minute ones) to others. This year, I’ve chosen to do things differently: small but meaningful gifts. Stay tuned for a gift guide.
4. Do things day by day
Stop diving into things and start taking them slowly, for better chances of success. From tidying my house, to studying for school, from preparing my meals to starting the new photography course. One thing at a time.
5. Wake up and be grateful
I was wandering through that amazing place on the Internet which is Pinterest (don’t get me started on how much i l o v e this website), when I found this quote that truly got stuck in my mind. “People are not grateful because they’re happy, they’re happy because they’re grateful”. I thought how true that was, and started meditating more and more on it. I decided I should keep track of the things I’m grateful for, and every morning wake up and write what I’m grateful for, and do the same before going to bed. I’ll update you on how this goes in the New Year’s and January Resolutions.
What are your resolutions for December, or your goals? I would love for you to share them with me, and I would be more than happy to check out your blogs, I love reading you!

These are great December goals! Sticking with a fitness regimen is on my to-do list as well. We'll see if I can manage it!

Thanks for sharing these goals, loved to read them! Having a fitness plan is definitely one of my goals as well. I just find myself being way too comfortable watching Netflix and play games, besides my studies these days. I am sure exercising would give me a huge boost.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I am looking forward to your gift guide!

Getting into fitness just makes me feel so much better with my own body and lifestyle: I feel so much more energized and excited for the days to come.
DeleteWe should see if we'll both be able to stick to it!
It's coming up tomorrow!
Have a lovely day,
Agnese
Meaningful personalized gifts are so much importnat than lavish meaningless gifts for sure!

I agree! I'd rather have a small gift that I see the person has put some effort in than receiving a huge gift which really has no feelings in it, if you know what I mean :)

I think writing them down makes such a difference, you know they're there haunting you lol
DeleteIt doesn't matter if it's what everybody wants to do, you could be the one to break the chain and actually do it! I would love to hear more from you and see if we both stick to it this month.
Have a wonderful day,
